17 - Artist Logo and Title

 ARTIST LOGO AND TITLE SCREEN

I plan to put the artist logo near the beginning or end of the music video. I imagine it would begin over a black background, and as the black fades into the first shot, the logo will fade away. This allows the audience to know immediately the artist of the song, as well as through showing the logo will they get a sense of the kind of music the artist creates as well as the kind of music video they are about to see.

I still have two logos that I am debating between using. The first has a cold colour pallet, and has a more natural feeling to it. On the other hand, the second I think has a slightly nostalgic feeling with it's colour pallet, which is also much warmer. The second can also be Tweaked in a way that it does not show any built in text, as well as the fact that it feels more balanced in comparison to the first. 

I will likely do the same at the end of the video as well, although possibly without showing the logo and only the name of the band. During editing I will be sure to play around with a number of ideas so that I am confident with the choice I decide to go with in the end.

RE-SHOOTS AND ADDITIONS When editing the majority of my re-shoots were done during the sections of the video when the protagonist is at home. This was quite lucky, as you can imagine. STEVE BARRON Steve Barron is an Irish filmmaker and director born in 1956, Dublin. He started work in films as a camera assistant, and slowly growing to have directed for a huge number of films, TV shows and music videos, as well as doing all sorts of other works. Some notable works include directing a number of episodes from the television series "The Storyteller", produced by Jim Henson, along with directing the films "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" in 1990 and "The Adventures of Pinocchio" in 1996.
