37 - Web Page Building

 WEB PAGE BUILDING

Have finished creating each of the different pages and images needed for the website. All that is left to do now is to create text for everywhere that it is needed. I found the builder I was using was very user friendly, and as I learnt to use it I found more and more ways of taking more control and creative freedom.

I was able to quickly throw together some fake album names and covers, as well as use websites that print personalised designs to get some images of merchandise for the band. These have all been uploaded to the website and are just awaiting some text to go along with it.

There are some areas that I will need to go over, such as some of the images on the 'About' pages of the site, as the ones being used at the moment were just images that I could find lying around in my files.

I have managed to create a fake list of places and dates for the 'Tour' part of the website. At the moment, there are two sets of links for each area listed, 'Website Link' and 'Buy Tickets'. I have these links just directly going to a google document I was using to set up the table of text, but I'm not sure if I should change that or not.

At times it was frustrating working on the website, but I think we're on the home stretch now!

RE-SHOOTS AND ADDITIONS When editing the majority of my re-shoots were done during the sections of the video when the protagonist is at home. This was quite lucky, as you can imagine. STEVE BARRON Steve Barron is an Irish filmmaker and director born in 1956, Dublin. He started work in films as a camera assistant, and slowly growing to have directed for a huge number of films, TV shows and music videos, as well as doing all sorts of other works. Some notable works include directing a number of episodes from the television series "The Storyteller", produced by Jim Henson, along with directing the films "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" in 1990 and "The Adventures of Pinocchio" in 1996. He is most known, however, for his work on Micheal Jackson's music video for the song "Billie Jean", Bryan Adams' music video for both "Summer of '69" and "Run to You", as well as directing the music video for Aha's "Take on Me".
