 PETER GABRIEL

Peter Gabriel is one of the biggest names in music history. He was born in 1950 and became well known in the music industry as the lead singer of the band Genesis in 1967, alongside Tony Banks, Anthony

Phillips, Chris Stewart, and Mike Rutherford. Due to their young age, they originally took on a school-boy look for the band. This soon changed, however, when Gabriel began promoting the band with an increasingly lavish and extravagant look, which slowly gave the band more and more commercial success. 

One Gabriel's time with Genesis eventually came to a close, he gave himself another image shift that would prove more success in keeping up with the music industry, as he no longer presented himself with lavish or extravagant clothing and aesthetics, and instead began favoring a simpler, restrained look. This matched the similar shift in music for the singer-songwriter, in which his later music had a more socially-conscious and self aware tone.

RE-SHOOTS AND ADDITIONS When editing the majority of my re-shoots were done during the sections of the video when the protagonist is at home. This was quite lucky, as you can imagine. STEVE BARRON Steve Barron is an Irish filmmaker and director born in 1956, Dublin. He started work in films as a camera assistant, and slowly growing to have directed for a huge number of films, TV shows and music videos, as well as doing all sorts of other works. Some notable works include directing a number of episodes from the television series "The Storyteller", produced by Jim Henson, along with directing the films "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" in 1990 and "The Adventures of Pinocchio" in 1996. He is most known, however, for his work on Micheal Jackson's music video for the song "Billie Jean", Bryan Adams' music video for both "Summer of '69" and "Run to You", as well as directing the music video for Aha's "Take on Me".
