"Sony Music Entertainment", also know as "Sony Music", is a multi-national American music and entertainment company, it's parent company conglomerate being "Sony Group Corporation". 
The calculated salary of the company made from April 2020 to March 2021 was estimated to be around $5.77 Billion USD.

History
The Sony Music record company was originally founded in 1929 as a result of a merger of several other record companies. Although, at this time it was named "American Record Corporation". In 1938 the company was then acquired by "CBS Records" (First as "Columbia", eventually renamed to "CBS Records" in 1966).
Similar name shifts, mergers and other changes happened until eventually in 1991, the company was renamed "Sony Music Entertainment". 

Structure
The mission of Sony Music Entertainment is to "inspire the world to do great things through the influence of music by promoting inspirational melodies and lyrics". 
Currently, the top executives in Sony Music include Rob Stringer (CEO of Sony Music Entertainment, and Chairman of Sony Music Group) being one of the most influencial people in the music industry, along with Kevin Kelleher (Chief Operating Officer of Sony Music Entertainment). Others include Towalame Austin, Amanda Collins, Carmine Coppola, Andrew Davis, Peter Edge, Randy Goodman, Dennis Kooker, Tom Mackay, and many more.
